My introduction to photography came during high school when I started taking pictures for my school yearbook. While in my photography classes, I started hiding (and working) in the darkroom in order to avoid Mr. Marvin's classroom lectures! Amazing that my avoidance of school would eventually turn into a full-time photography passion. After school, my photography turned into a serious hobby for many years, before finally turning professional. In June of that year I finally graduated from college. Shortly after graduation, I married my sweetheart Bobby on the 4th of July at Dodger Stadium, right on top of home plate. Bobby had encouraged me to take my hobby professional for many years, and during our special day I unexpectedly found two amazing mentors. Scott A. Nelson was our primary photographer, and he brought along Holly Steen (and Jared Fix) as his associates. Scott viewed some of my work shortly after our wedding, and offered me a job as an assistant for a wedding a few months later. I was so excited to help him out! Anyway, since then I have been asked to photograph many weddings, senior and family portraits, babies, and much more. I am always honored when someone appreciates my work enough to ask me to be their photographer. To me, this is not work. It is the ability to do something I love on a daily basis, and I would not trade it for anything.
