I realized long ago that I really want the emotions I feel to come through in my photography when I'm behind the camera. Sometimes I capture a picture that really moves me, and that certainly happened at Dax and Jenn's wedding. When I saw Jenn dancing with her mother, I had a difficult time snapping the photo as I realized what an amazing moment it was that I was so fortunate to witness. Sometimes, in the midst of a beautiful wedding, I am reminded of so many things and people that I care about. When Jenn was dancing with her mother, I realized how much I miss my mom and my sister. I realized how fortunate that I am that my family is healthy. I realized how fortunate I am to do what I love for a living. Most importantly, I realized how lucky I was to be Dax and Jenn's engagement and wedding photographer. Because I realize how lucky I am, I wanted to do something to help others. Therefore, I made a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, designating my contribution in honor of Dax and Jenn. I hope that everyone that views these photos will consider making a donation to their favorite charity in honor of Dax and Jenn as well.
